Inspired by the Dongdaenum Design Plaza in South Korea, 10000 Roses Cafe is now one of the most picturesque tourist spots in Cordova Cebu. After making trends and thousand likes in Facebook and other social medias, most travelers would wish to visit Cebu without missing out this secluded yet charming café.
By it’s name itself, the place comprises of 10,000 artificial LED roses that are decorated around the café to imbibe a romantic ambiance perfect for couples and for travelers looking for something new and relaxing view. The cafe is definitely a place to enjoy beautiful moments and to free up all your worries.
Aside from the magical lights and scenic view of 10,000 Roses, the café also offers sumptuous cakes, coffees and milk teas to feed our hungry tummy. With it’s opening last 2017, many are also surprised with the warmth welcome of the staffs, good energy of the locals and the coziness of the cafe.

Undoubtedly, my experience at 10,000 Roses Café is beyond what I expect. I have an amazing time at the sea view while eating cake with a tea and of course talking about life with someone important to me. It’s also a nice thing to go at the view deck when the sun sets to see the snow-white roses and the Lantaw Floating Restaurant.
During night time, the café becomes more magical and fairy-tale-like as the 10,000 roses are lit up like stars in the sky while dancing with the wind. This truly a romantic place when you are on a date or something unforgettable when spending time with your family or hanging out with friends.

HOW TO GET TO 10000 Roses Cebu?
There are 3 ways to go to the café:
1. By Private Car– This is the most convenient and easy way, as you can reach the café from Cebu Business District (SM Cebu/ Cebu IT Park) within 45 to 1 hour to Day-as, Cordova.
If you are in a Group Tour, this is also a good option as travel agencies are familiar enough to take you in the place and this could save you more time.
2. By Public Van – This is a budget-friendly option. Vans going to Cordova are located beside SM Cebu. First, you need to tell your driver that you will go to 10,000 Roses Café so that he can drop you to Gaisano (Fare: PHP 35) and from that place, you need to ride a tricycle (Fare: 20 to 50 PHP) to reach the café. I would personally recommend this option for travelers doing a Do-It-Yourself (D-I-Y) tour as you just need to spend an average of PHP 60 ($1.20) per person and the travel time is within 1 hour or 1 ½ at least.
3. By Taxi or Grab – This is also a convenient option but expensive. Convenient in a way that if you are situated in any part of Cebu Business District or Mactan Airport, you could just hire a car and pay for at least PHP 1,000 – 2000 ($20 -$40).
This option will cost you a fortune as normally, the drivers in Cebu don’t use their Grab or Taxi meters when transferring passengers from one municipality to another. Since SM Cebu is located in Consolacion and 10,000 Roses Café is in Cordova which is a different municipality, the fare price of taxi could be a bit pricey. Travel time is also 45 mins to 1 hour.
There is also another option which is by taking a jeepney. It’s cheap but I would not discuss it further, since it involves 4 transfers and could consume 2 to 3 hours of your travel time which to me is not ideal.

IMPORTANT THINGS to KNOW:
TIME TO VISIT. Based on my experience, the best time to be at the 10000 Roses Cebu is from 5 to 7 PM. As early as 3 PM if you are far from the place, I would advise you to start travelling so that you will be able to see the sunset and the 10,000 roses shining in the evening. It’s also nice to be at the place as early as 7 AM to take fresh and vibrant selfies. But for those who want to drink a hot coffee, note that the cafe is open from 10 AM to 11 PM.
FOOD & PRICE. Personally, I like the blueberry cheesecake but for the milk tea, I believe the café could serve something better or do it better. I haven’t tried other food from their menu, I guess their pricing in pasta, pizza and snack could be reduced. But for the drinks and others, I think it’s reasonable considering the fact that the experience to see the 10,000 Roses is free.
All in all, I’m sure you’re gonna enjoy the 10,000 Roses Cafe. It’s a new and unique place to experience and since it’s one of the tourist attractions where entrance fee is free, go grab the opportunity and create a great memories.
