Pinto Art Museum is situated in the most popular city of Rizal Province and known as one of the best destinations in Antipolo.
The museum showcases contemporary and staggering art. It is a landing venue for everyone who wish to relax, meditate, and appreciate the power combination of Art, Science and Nature.
As we are all battling the effect of Pandemic, this place would probably give us a short escape from the reality, and it would simply allow us to enjoy and travel back in time.
WHAT TO EXPECT AT PINTO ART MUSEUM?
When I first knew about Pinto Art, I promptly got excited and thought for its great Paintings and delectable food. But I must say that I underestimated such notion, to me, there are more things to see at the museum.
To begin, I found their galleries so huge and captivating. And take note, they only not have one but 7 galleries as of this writing. When you are in a restaurant buffet, you eat all you want, but in this place, you see all the paintings you want (you will know what I mean when you visit the place).
From all the art I’ve seen in the museum, well, to me its hard to say which one blown me away but I do have a favorite spot. It is the stairway at Gallery 5, from which you will notice the well-crafted characters of women, a soldier, an infant and a vague imagination. It’s like a different journey of people in one place.
As I positioned myself to their galleries, I found each really interesting and unique.
Starting from the most sought after and graceful area – the galleries 6 and 7 would surprise you for its magnificent and voluminous paintings’ collection that you will not dare to count.
It’s a hall of great arts and artists. Personally, I didn’t expect it that it would be that huge, since I am fully satisfied with the paintings I saw from gallery 1-5. I’m overwhelmed and just have a wow face when I reached the area.
Moving forward, in gallery 2, the theme is more of the 90’s. Displaying an old black turtle car, a naked sculpture of a men and women, which will make you remember the goddesses of Greece.
While gallery 3, the trope here is more of the future. As it depicts technology, machines, fitness, and health.
I enjoyed being in this area as I felt like I am watching Netflix (‘Painting’s edition’ haha) and chill.
THE MUSEUM
Inside the museum, I had the glimpse of our local painters and sculpturers’ imagination that is put and carve in paper and sand. While outside, the structure of the place would make you feel you are in Santorini.
Me and My Girls
The pristine white contemporary buildings that house the different paintings are totally dashing and captivating.
At the entrance itself, you will have a cozy feeling because of the style of each of the establishment surrounding the 1.3 hectares of the Pinto Art Museum.
My favorite areas would be the white house at the center and their lush gardens embellished with cute architectures and designs.
I would definitely recommend this place to visit with your family, friends, officemates and loved ones.
The ambiance here feels surreal and would totally free you from stress. Funny thing, the museum would also make your legs work out as you will do here a lot of walking.
THE CAFÉ
After a tiring but satisfying sight-seeing, Pinto Art is ready to serve you their delicious international and local cuisine with an alfresco type of dining.
Their food prices are ranging from PHP 200 – 2,500 and PHP 80 – 150 for their coffee and fresh juice.
Personally, I’m happy to have their Napa Salad, Seafood Pasta Aglio – Olio and Dr. JC’s Batanes Roulade. Their Batanes Roulade is comprised of steamy dory and coconut milk, while the Aglio pasta is a combination of rock shrimp, clams, olive oil, cherry tomatoes, penne pasta and some herbs. Absolutely, I would recommend these selections to everyone.
On the other side, Margherita Pizza is not commendable. As I think, it is not worthy for its price of PHP 895. Not to compare, but I like more the quality of pizza I ordered at Subic Yacht Club in Zambales.
But all in all, Pinto Art Café is a must try restaurant. It really serves delightful treats be it for appetizers, sandwiches, desserts, main-course, sushi, cocktails and fruit shakes.
